Seeing a message about an outstanding payment? Don't worry, this is almost always easy to resolve, and you'll be right back to enjoying F2F.com.
What is this amount?
An outstanding payment appears when a payment didn't go through, for example because your bank declined a direct debit or a payment was later reversed. It relates to content or a subscription period that was active at the time. This can also be a payment from a while ago - we recently improved how open payments are shown, so an older failed payment may only now be appearing.
"But I cancelled my subscription?"
Both can be true. Cancelling stops future renewals, but doesn't apply retroactively. If a renewal had already started before you cancelled and that payment failed, the amount remains due. You never pay for anything after your cancellation, only for the period before it. Paying an outstanding amount does not re-subscribe you.
Common situations
"I already cancelled my subscription (unfan), why do I still owe something?" The open amount is a renewal that failed while the subscription was still active, before your cancellation took effect.
"This payment is from a long time ago." Older failed payments remain due and are now shown on the payment page.
"The creator's profile no longer exists." The amount relates to a purchase or subscription period from when the profile was still active, so it remains due.
"I keep being redirected to the payment page." The reminder returns until the open amount is settled. Paying once removes it immediately.
